When Oh When?

When will people learn?  Another post on the Bad Pitch Blog.  I think there are times when pitching the EIC is relevant, especially with the really small (in terms of staff) publications.  Lots of times the EIC will farm out stories to freelancers.  But, guys, really, do the research.  One email can ruin a relationship with a reporter or EIC and worse yet, your reputation and your firm’s.
