I was shocked by this. Shocked. I mean, I know that CEOs make a lot of money, I get it. And I also know that the “workers” do not. However, I didn’t realize that some CEOs make in a day what most people make in a year. That is simply crazy. I call this “the great divide”. Besides the gap in salaries, there is a growing gap in culture as well. When you make a zillion dollars, you aren’t worried about whether or not you can afford to buy lunch or make it at home and bring it in. You dont even worry about eating at all. You pay someone else to make sure you are fed, and fed well.
C’est la vie. As nice as a zillion dollars sounds, I am happy with my worker salary and making my turkey sandwich everyday
