Using the Web to boost salary?

Saw this in the NYT today.   It seems like PayScale was unable to “process” my request.  I guess Senior Associate at a PR firm in Andover is not a popular search .   However, I went through the process and it takes a lof things into consideration, where you went to school, how many years you have been in the industry (10) and it asks questions about various benefits, flex time, etc.  I would interested to see if any of you readers have any luck.
